The range of activities in forensic genetics includes

- Saliva samples for other forensic laboratories
- Identification of unknown corpses
The services are mainly provided for courts, public prosecutors’ offices and private senders. Labor Berlin is thus taking over the services of Charité’s forensic DNA laboratory. Samples are taken, diagnostics are carried out and expert reports are prepared on the department’s existing premises.
