31.10.24 | Labor Berlin was able to build on the innovative success of the top 100 German SMEs for the third time in a row in 2024. Since 2011, WirtschaftsWoche has published the exclusive ranking, which analyses the innovative strength of 4,000 SMEs.
The study by the independent company Munic Strategy analyses which companies in the German SME sector are the most innovative.
To this end, the innovative strength and economic performance of more than 4,000 SMEs were analysed in a multi-stage analysis process. Munich Strategy calculated an innovation score for a shortlist of 400 companies. This assesses innovative strength based on three groups of criteria: Innovation Vitality, Innovation Perception and R&D & Tech Power. With an innovation score of 213.3, Europe’s largest hospital laboratory ranks 51st.
Labor Berlin was already among the top 50 companies in the WirtschaftsWoche ranking of Germany’s most innovative SMEs in 2022 and 2023, and was also the only laboratory in the top 20 in 2022.
