Apart from high blood pressure, diabetes, nicotine consumption, obesity and age, lipometabolic disorders are the biggest risk factors for cardiovascular disease, which is one of the main causes of death in Germany.
Under the direction of Prof. Dr. med. Michael Walter, the brochure Fettstoffwechselstörungen und vaskuläres Risiko was produced in cooperation with Labor Berlin. It is aimed at doctors, medical staff, nutritionists and interested persons (m/f/d). The brochure is intended to describe diseases at a comprehensible level and derive rational laboratory diagnostics and therapy options from this.
