Our organizational structure
Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Vivantes Netzwerk für Gesundheit GmbH are the parent companies, each holding 50 percent. Charité and Vivantes are companies of the State of Berlin: Labor Berlin is therefore also part of the public sector.

The Department of Human Genetics emerged from the human genetics diagnostic laboratories of the Institute of Medical Genetics and the Institute of Human Genetics at Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
