Award for excellent management in the healthcare industry
Every year, the “Thieme Management Award” honors two personalities in the German healthcare industry with the titles “Manager of the Year” and “High-Flyer”. The award ceremony traditionally took place together with the cdgw – Club der Gesundheitswirtschaft at an exclusive gala on January 22, 2020 in Berlin.
The “Manager of the Year” award recognizes managers who achieve exceptional results in their field and thus impressively move their company forward. Since 2017, the “Senkrechtstarter” prize has been awarded to young managers with an exceptional career path who stand out for their creative solutions and willingness to take on responsibility. The eight-member jury is made up of the publishers of “kma”, representatives of the Thieme Group and a representative of the cdgw – Club der Gesundheitswirtschaft.
Nina Beikert was awarded the prize in the “high-flyer” category. This is what the jury had to say about their decision: “We see the key to her success as Nina Beikert’s high level of professional expertise, which is paired with an extraordinarily winning personality and a great openness to change and innovative approaches – as well as the curiosity and courage to create space in the organization to take up, develop and try out new and unconventional ideas.”
